1989

Wayne Toler entered the insulation industry as a sales representative with a family owned and operated company. The family had been in the industry for over 65 years. Wayne gained the knowledge of insulating from the trials and errors of an experienced company. In 1994 they sold the business to a national company.

1994

Wayne moved to Lynchburg and started Toler Insulating Company, Inc.

1998

Toler Insulating partnered with Polymaster Foam in Place and received his Certificate of Completion in Technical Training.

2000

Paul Newman brought his talent and background from his work of being a framer and trim carpenter along with Operations Manager experience with Adam Wholesale to our team. Wayne Toler trained Paul in doing residential take off’s in the field.

2003

Shelving and storage division is added and headed by Paul Newman.

2007

Anders Sunwall joined us to head the After Paint Division. He has been factory trained in installing and cutting mirrors along with custom shower door framing. Then went to Schulte Storage and received factory training along with computer design training to give the customer a three dimensional view of their specific storage needs. Mr. Sunwall has received factory training from Coastal Industries to do framed and frameless shower doors and enclosures and to complete the division added Moen bathroom and Taymor door hardware.

Heidi Toler joined in to do payroll, accounts payable and receivables. We take great pride in paying our bills daily without delay.

Paul Newman promoted to Vice President.

2009

Taylor Roach joined Toler Insulating as the Office Manager.

Toler Insulating Company became a Certified Commercial Building Insulation Contractor, as of 1/30/2009 one of only eight in the nation.

2010

October 2010, Wayne Toler, Paul Newman, & Taylor Roach became BPI & RESNET Certified.

2011

Taylor Roach was certified as a HERS rater (of Energy Star and Earthcraft houses)
